		Katsurako Mikami (Teaching languages : English, Japanese) A native of Japan, pianist Katsurako Mikami has won recognition in Japan, the United States and Europe for solo recitals, concerts with orchestra, chamber music performances and recordings. The critics have been unanimous in awarding her the highest acclaim for her musical sensitivity, technical polish and lyricism. Miss Mikami received her musical training at the Toho School of Music in Tokyo and the Conservatory of Music in Paris with Vlado Perlemuter under a French Government Scholarship. She also studied in the United State with Sascha Gorodnizki as a scholarship student at the Juilliard School. She is a winner of numerous prizes and medals including the National Music Competition in Tokyo and the Marguerite Long International Piano Competition in Paris. Miss Mikami has served on summer music faculty of the University of Maine and the Alfred University in New York. Now, she is a professor of the Toho School of Music in Tokyo, Japan. Die japanische Pianistin Katsurako Mikami ist bekannt ist fur ihre zahlreichen CD-Aufnahmen, Klavierabende, Konzerte mit Orchestern, Kammermusikauftritte in Japan, den USA und Europa. Sie ist Gewinnerin renommierter Preise, unter anderem bei der National Music Competition in Tokio und der Marguerite Long International Piano Competition in Paris. An der University of Maine und an der Alfred University in New York unterrichtete Katsurako Mikami im Rahmen der Sommermusik-Akademien. Derzeit ist sie Professorin an der Toho School of Music in Tokio.
