| Adrian Kreda was born in
Buenos Aires, Argentina. He completed his music studies at the Buenos
Aires National Conservatory of Music and graduated as a Superior Professor
of Music in 1986. As the winner of the 1985 Latin-American Piano Competition,
he was awarded a fellowship for advanced piano studies as the Music
Academy of Krakow in Poland. |
After completion of this
fellowship he obtained both the Virtuosite du Piano and Culture Musicale
diplomas from the Conservatory of Geneva in the early 1990s.
He has performed regularly as a piano soloist since 1976 and has developed
a considerable repertoire. Early in his career he appeared in the
principal concert halls of Argentina, including the Theatre Colon
of Buenos Aires.
In addition, he has appeared for performances across Latin-America
including the Mozarteum Society of Uruguay and the Theatre Sao Pedro
of San Pablo in Brazil. Live performances have also been recorded
by the national radio and television in Argentina and by the national
radio of Uruguay, Poland and Switzerland. Throughout Europe, he had
given recitals in important theatres and concert halls of Switzerland,
Poland, France, Portugal. Spain, Austria, Netherlands, Greece and
Denmark.
Among these performances are the complete cycle of piano sonatas by
Beethoven(France 1996) and the first audtion in Poland of the Concerto
No.1 by Alberto Ginastera.
In Switzerland, he frequently performs as a piano soloist and has
recorded with the Chamber Orchestra of Lancy-Geneve. In addition,
he tours all through Europe with two chamber music ensembles Les virtuoses
romantiques and the Ensemble metropolitain.
Adrian Kreda distinguishes himself also as an orchestra conductor
and composer. He currently lives in Geneva Switzerland, and is Professor
and Dean of Piano at the Conservatoire of Geneva.
