| Originally from Munich, Brigitte Lindner was already working as a soloist for EMI-Electrola while studying at the Munich University of Music. Her recordings included "Hänsel und Gretel" under Heinz Wallberg and "Die Zauberflöte"(The Magic Flute) under Bernard Haitink. Her vocal development was accompanied by Hanna Scholl-Volker, Helen Donath and Nicolai Gedda.. | ||
| Her first permanent engagement led her to the Staatstheater Braunschweig where she sang roles such as "Gretel" (Hänsel und Gretel), "Maria"(Westside-Story), "Valencienne" (Die Lustige Witwe/The Merry Widow). Under the direction of Giuseppe Sinopolie she sang the part of the "young shepard boy" in Richard Wagner's "Tannhäuser" at the Bayreuth Festival for many years. She also participated in the Ludwigsburger Festival under Wolfgang Gönnenwein. During the following years of her career, Brigitte Lindner appeared on many stages at home and abroad as well as producing numerous CDs. As the partner of, among others, Rene Kollo and Francisco Araiza, she took part in Gala Evenings in the Alte Oper in Frankfurt and the Kölner Philharmonie as well as the Bad Ems Festivals. Her voice appears on many radio recordings by WDR, BR, NDR and
Deutschlandradio/DLF with just as many TV appearances on German
channels ARD and ZDF. Fromthe winter semester of 2012/13, she will be Professor at The University of Music and Dance Cologne. Brigitte Lindner, gebürtige Münchnerin, wirkte bereits während ihres Studiums an der Musikhochschule München als Solistin bei der Schallplattenfirma EMI-Electrola u.a. in "Hänsel und Gretel" unter Heinz Wallberg und "Die Zauberflöte" unter Bernhard Haitink mit. Ihre stimmliche Entwicklung begleiteten Hanna Scholl-Völker, Helen Donath und Nicolai Gedda. Ihr erstes Festengagement führte sie an das Staatstheater Braunschweig, wo sie Rollen wie "Gretel"(Hansel und Gretel), "Maria"(Westside-Story) , "Valencienne"(Die lustige Witwe) u. a. sang. Unter der Leitung von Giuseppe Sinopolie sang sie mehrere Jahre den "Hirtenknaben" in Richard Wagners "Tannhäuser" bei den Bayreuther Festspielen und wirkte mehrmals bei den Ludwigsburger Festspielen unter Wolfgang Gönnenwein mit. Es folgte eine Laufbahn, die sie an viele Bühnen des In- und Auslands führte und zahlreiche CD- Produktionen hervorbrachte. Als Partnerin u .a. von Rene Kollo und Francisco Araiza wirkte sie bei Galaabenden mit, u. a. in der Alten Oper in Frankfurt, in der Kölner Philharmonie und bei den Festspielen in Bad Ems. In zahllosen Rundfunkaufnahmen des WDR, BR, NDR und Deutschlandradio/DLF ist ihre Stimme zu hören, ebenso bei vielen Fernsehauftritten bei ARD und ZDF. Neben zahlreichen Opern- und Operetten CD-Einspielungen bei EMI-Electrola sind bei dem Label Dabringhaus und Grimm und CPO CDs mit ihr auf dem Markt erhältlich. Neben ihren künstlerischen Aktivitäten galt ihr Engagement stets auch der Entwicklung und Ausbildung des professionellen und semi-professionellen Nachwuchses. Von 2002 bis 2007 unterrichtete sie als Lehrbeauftragte an der Hochschule für Musik Köln am Standort Aachen, ab 2007 am Standort Wuppertal. Seit Januar 2009 ist sie Professorin für Gesang und Gesangspädagogik an der Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln am Standort Wuppertal - ab WS 12/13 Standort Köln. Darüber hinaus ist sie als Dozentin in Vorbereitungskursen für "Jugend musiziert" und in Meisterkursen tätig. |
